My husband and I recently stayed here with our 2 little girls ages 3 and 1 and could not have been any happier!! I Our room was spotless and very well kept. The pools are fantastic and immaculate. The restaurant was perfect for family dining and both kids ate free for every meal. It has a great playground, putting green, chess set, and lots of grassy space to play. We will def. be returning next year for another fantastic stay! I def. reccomend staying there, it is by far the best hotel in the area.

Hello, We were there for 4 nights. It was in October, so we bypassed Lake George's main source of revenue, July and August's summer family crowd at the beach by the lake and summer water activities. The rooms were clean when we got there, and they were clean every day that we were there. We have nothing about that Holiday Inn to complain about. However, the restaurant/lounge that was atatched to it, The food was OK, and the choices on the menu were definitely lacking. I had to change my order a few times because, even though the menu was small enough as it is, they were out of the items that I ordered. The 'salad' bar sucked; they may have just as well put lawn grass in a bowl and called it salad. I recommend for breakfast: the small diner a few buildings south of the hotel, and HIGHLY recommend, for breakfast, The Silio restaurant and store, a few miles south of the hotel on the intersection of route 9 and route 254 ( Aviation Road, across from a decent mall called Aviation Mall ). The locals also highly recommend the Silo as well. Lunch and dinner, if you like good food and a good salad bar, Sweet Basil is a very good Italian place, and The Log Jam, a very popular place, was pretty good as well. For a meat and seafood meal, I recommend the Montcalm Restaurant over the Log Jam, because it's a little more classier. Salad bar wise, Sweet Basil and LG is good. LG adds cream and crap to their veggies in the salad bar, where Sweet Basil has raw veggies. Chinatown has a cheap buffet, both in price and quality of buffet.

Highlt reccommend for location and staff. Very kid/family friendly especially for younger children. All activities open and working, but at times for the number of guests the kids got bored waiting, but overall a very nice place. Would be nice if the shuttle to downtown pulled into the hotel instead of stopping on the street. There were, however no tennis courts as stated nor free breakfast, but niether was a big deal
