My family and I checked in with the intention of staying for four nights. We checked out after one night because this place is so bad that anything more than this would be the equivalent of staying in a kennel!! The place is nothing like what is represented on their website. It is old, dirty, loud and extremely overpriced. It is on the lake but has a beach the size of a sandbox. The pool looked ok, but we could not tolerate the room long enough to even give it a shot. The Air Conditioning unit is so loud that it would be quieter sleeping outside at an airport! I am writing this at 3:45 in the morning counting the minutes until we can escape. I would think that this is a nightmare but I am positive that I am not sleeping!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

The rooms and beds were a little small but the room didnt smell. Nice pool, small beach front, but if you have small kids there is a water slide that goes into the lake. It was worth the stay. Maids werent very tidy. No tp left in bathrrom, no more coffee for pot, and no bath mat. But before we got there at least the room was clean. Oh, my key didnt work so when i gave them my key to reactivate they didnt even ask me for ID. all I did was tell them my room # and they did it. It made me a little nervous. Was a good location to walk into town.

Had we any idea that there was to be two soroties partying on the Friday night, we probably would have checked for another place in the area. We were kept awake off and on until 4:15am. On Saturday, they had two weddings. There was a brawl that went on from 9:pm and continued off and on until 3:30 in the am. The police were at the hotel three times in that period. I have written a letter to the resort. This was to have been a fun and restful Mother's Day weekend for myself and two daughter's. This was the first time that they had been able to get away without kids.....One of the Georgian's comments on something I read stated that the minimum age at check-in was 25....I am not so sure about that. While we understand that this is not a normal occurance, I am sure that there are many positive's for this resort. If you go andit is your first time, let them know so that they can also give you information regarding the amenities etc., we did not find any of this information in our room.

I stayed here 11-15-09. I was very satisfied with the room it was clean, good heat, thats important when its cold outside. Nicely decorated out side, great veiws on the lake. Vending machines and ice they were clean areas too,Wish I could have stayed longer . Plan on going back to this area will definitally stay here again. The free breakfast was nice too, good coffee!

A great family vacation destination. The staff at the Georgian was very friendly and the room was very nice. Pool side service was a plus and they have a great inflatable water slide for the kids on the beach. Very nice pool and walking distance to town.
